Project Spotlight - Kenna Hall

Location: Summit, MS

Clark Construction undertook the challenging project of renovation of Kenna Hall, the only remaining building from the original campus of Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit, MS, which was originally built in 1925. This original construction consisted of 24,300 square feet of traditional mason and timber construction.

The interior of the building was completely removed, including the slab and interior foundation. A new foundation, slab and steel structure with three floors was built in the shell of the former building. The front portion of the building was completely renovated including a new floor plan with new finishes, electrical and mechanical. The exterior of the building was also completely restored.
